Last Cakes for 2009 ,Gift boxes with Sugar Ribbon.

Blue gift box or maybe shoes box, ha haaa simple but really interesting to make it. As usual, I love to used lace technique when I create my sugar ribbon.. Inside the box is rich fruit cake and fully covered with fondant icing. The next cake is love shape sugarbox. Actually that is chocolate mud cake but I carve and reshape it to become the love shape. Very difficult to finish it but Alhamdulillah finally I got it. I put a dozen of “ferrero rocherre” chocolate inside the box. The cake has been sold at Rm 240 while the shoe box cake at Rm220.

Royal Icing Cup Cakes

cupakes "bertatahkan" royal icing flowers. Dibuat untk hantaran pertunangan . Di puncaknya diletakkan ring holder cup cake dengan diserikan oleh sepasang rama rama orange yang diperbuat dari sugarpaste. Rm 13 setiap satu ( marble cake)

Butterflies in The Rose Garden

New creation of cupcakes with tearose and beautiful butterflies attached on the cake!!!. Dibuat diatas permintaan oleh Datin Syarifah dari Ampang. Menggunakan chocolate moist cake dan dihiasi dengan sugar roses serta kupu kupu pelbagai warna yang juga diperbuat dari flowerpaste.Thanks for Mr John Quai Hoi of Australia for the idea and inspiration. 1 set dengan 16 cupcakes ini dijual pada harga Rm 12 setiap satu.

Gumpaste Rose Cake

Cake pink dengan gubahan bunga gumpaste bertemakan black-pink. Diatas permintaan pengantin kek ini menggunakan Rich Chocolate Mud Cake dengan ketinggian 3.5 inchi. Cake ini dibaluti dengan fresh fondant yang dengan cut work design dibahagian sisi serta diembossed dengan rose garland pattern. Kebiasaanya kek fondant dari cake expressions menggunakan flowerpaste tetapi untuk cake ini ianya menggunakan gumpaste yang menggunakan resepi serta method dari negara seberang Indonesia. Lebih mudah menyiapkan kesemua bunga rose ini kerana gumpaste yang dihasilkan agak kenyal senang dibentuk dan tidak lembek. Tidak seperti flowerpaste biasa gumpaste ini tidak menggunakan icing sugar dan hanyalah menggunakan syrup gula dan campuran tepung tepung terpilih. Kepada mereka yang berminat untuk kelas gumpaste method indonesia ini.. nantikan kelas Commercial Gumpaste pada tahun hadapan.

Bride & Groom Figurine Class.

I made the couple of bride and groom for the figurine class that is expected to be held in February next year. The bride wears satin gown with ribbon at the back side while the hair is tied with bun shape design.The groom just wear simple tuksedo with line pants and small bow tie. Both of them stand in front of lovely love shapes in different colours and sizes. For those who are interested to join this class please request for further information. Only 6 places are available for the class.
The good news is this cake topper is also available for orders! Needless to say, they are perfect to sit on novelty wedding cakes. There are 3 designs currently available- standing couple, seated couple and one standing and one seated couple.Other themes could be requested as well.For further information please contact me. Tropical Theme Wedding Cake.

New creation of Lace wedding cake with tropical sugar flowers. Selection of antharium,frangipani,maranta, palm and collius leaves. Cake and bunga ini mengambil masa 4 hari untuk disiapkan. Teknik sugar lace digunakan untuk menghiasi chocolate cake ini manakala gubahan bunga antharium dengan filler flower frangipani digubah pada candle stand.pilihan pelbagai tone warna hijau pada tropical leaves digunakan untuk menaikan tema orange kuning peach pada cake.Thanks pada Mus kerana memberi peluang untuk cake expressions mencuba tema bunga tropical untuk menghiasi wedding cake yang ditempah ini. Cake ini berharga Rm 1250 dengan chocolate mud cake.Untuk Mus jangan lupa simpan bunga gula ini untuk kenangan perkahwinan.
